This speech was made about a week ago. Very interesting to see Hong Kong’s politics, and how it is effected by China, how it shapes their views on extradition, and what constitutes as a citizen of Hong Kong, in light of the recent issues with mainland Chinese coming down to have kids.
Especially in light of Hong Kong’s deficiencies in nurses and doctors working in public health institutions, which puts a further strain on their medical system:
Or, because of the lack of trust in Chinese products, many people are heading to Hong Kong, and stocking up on products that they know are actually safe:
Driving up prices on basic commodities.
Then, there’s the new racist term for mainlanders: Locusts. How can this be combatted?
