In fact, I like the use of his word, “NIMBY“, perfectly describes how people don’t want anything that’s potentially bad (chemical plants, nuclear power plants, land fills, etc…) near them. But then, what would modern-day living be without this stuff to process our waste, or do magical-science-things to give us our iPods?
